Two men have sustained injuries after an apparent robbery at a liquor store close to Inanda road in Springfield on Tuesday afternoon.
It is believed that both shop employees were shot by suspected robbers around 15h45.
At the time of their arrival, ER24 paramedics found that emergency services were already attending to one of the patients who was lying on the floor in the store.
ER24 paramedics stabilised the other patient who had a gunshot wound and possible fracture to the right leg. The patient was then transported to Ethekwini Hospital.
It is believed that the suspected robbers fled the scene with a cellphone and money.
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
