A Bluff family was lucky to escape a home invasion uninjured yesterday when a gang of armed robbers burst into their home.
Blue Security community and media liaison officer Andreas Mathios said three armed suspects jumped over the driveway gate to gain entry onto the premises at around 9.45pm.
“The gang entered the house through the front door and held up the family at gunpoint while they were watching television,” Mathios said. “The suspects ransacked the house and fled with a television and other electronic goods in the family’s vehicle. No injuries were reported.”
Brighton Beach SAPS attended the scene of the crime.
