On the afternoon of 14 August 2017, three suspects were shot dead and one wounded after opening fire on police members during a car chase on the M13 near Pinetown.
The car chase occurred after cash was robbed from security guards collecting cash at a petrol station in Hillcrest.
Four unlicensed firearms were seized and police investigations are continuing.
