Three suspects aged between 18 and 25 are set to appear on 14 January 2020, in the Eshowe Magistrates Court for possession of suspected stolen property.

Festive season might be over for some people but it continues for our dedicated officers in fighting crime in the province. This is supported by the positive results yielded when Eshowe members arrested three suspects during crime prevention duties at Nkwalini in Eshowe.

The members spotted a van loaded with irrigation pipes, steel window and attempted to stop the occupants who did not stop instead sped off.

The members gave chase and they managed to block the van and questioned the males about the property in their possession. The occupants failed to provider a satisfactory explanation as a result they were arrested and charged for possession of suspected stolen property.

All suspects are appearing at Eshowe Magistrate Court.

The KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Khombinkosi Jula commended the Eshowe members for the arrest of the suspects.
