Lamontville robbers arrested.

ARREST – In the early hours of the morning, Brighton Beach and Montclair police proceeded to Lamontville area where they arrested three suspects who were wanted for business robbery and house breaking committed in Montclair and Brighton Beach area.

The suspects were found in the premises where they keep the stolen goods. Goods as well as cash amounting to R50, 000 was recovered. The arrested suspects, aged 22 and 36, and are expected to appear in the Durban Magistrates Court soon on charges of business robbery and house breaking.

The KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Mmamonnye Ngobeni praised the members for arresting the suspects. “Business robberies are a huge problem which is affecting our community and the economy of our province. I would like commend our members for their dedication that led to the arrest of the suspects. We urge the community to not be afraid to provide us with information about the criminals in the community so that it will be easy to arrest them,” she said.
