An unidentified man has been murdered on Temple Road in Temple Valley – Verulam on 22 April 2017.
At approximately 16:09 members of Reaction Unit South Africa were called out to the scene after receiving a call from a member of public. The caller informed the RUSA Operations Center that a man was lying on the pavement bleeding excessively from his mouth.
Upon arrival the man was found lying on the pavement. He showed no signs of life and was declared dead on arrival by paramedics. His identity has not been established at this stage however residents in the area claimed that he was a known thief and drug user.
It is alleged that the deceased was assaulted after he had been caught stealing however this could not be confirmed.
