Tactical Crime Fighting Force Hot on The Heels of Criminals

Tactical Crime Fighting Force Hot on The Heels of Criminals

With a grand total of 113 arrests – consisting of direct apprehensions, assisted apprehensions in arrests made by police services in support of SAPS and Metro, and joint operations as force multipliers – made over the past 5 months, Blue Security’s Ambassadors and Tactical Officers have proved to be integral assets to the business. This highly successful unit bravely works day and night, with partners and informants, to help put criminals behind bars, where they belong. With no hesitation, they put their lives on the line. Not only to extinguish organised crime but also to remove the criminals who roam around communities, endangering peoples’ lives and their belongings.

What makes this team so successful?

This disciplined team of criminal intelligence experts have a winning blueprint to hunt down criminals through the use of a criminal intelligence network of trusted industry specialists and witnesses. They operate stealthily, by discreetly collecting intel on gangs, syndicates, and wanted criminals. This information is then used to draw up a plan of action for busts or raids that are conducted on properties where these illicit activities take place.

These strategies reduce the chances of criminals getting away, and the success of this proactive method can be seen in the monthly arrest average of 22.

With the backing of KZN’s largest security fleet, Blue’s Ambassadors have formed a strategic network of partners, services, informants, and law enforcers who all work together to make Durban a safer place. Without this network, intel received would not be as accurate and immediate as it is now.

The crime intelligence network includes Blue’s control centre, CCTV cameras, Armed Response Officers, Lieutenants, Area Managers, clients, Neighbourhood Watch Members, SAPS, and other private informants.

Highlights

The effectiveness of this team is due to the determination and passion displayed by each member. We look forward to many more successful special ops in the near future.
