The Chatsworth Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit are making an appeal to members of the community to assist with regards to a wanted suspect Samson Mbuyiseleni Mkhize (34). He is wanted for a case of rape that was committed on 21 January 2019 at 07:30, at the Mariannhill Railway Station, where a 12 year old girl was attacked and raped by a known suspect.
The suspect fled the scene on foot after the incident and has been on the run since then. A case of rape was opened for investigation. A warrant for his arrest has been issued by the court.
