A 35 year old suspect will appear in the Vryheid Magistrate’s Court on 8 December 2017, for dealing in drugs.

The suspect was arrested on 6 December 2017 at 14:00 during the police operations in the area. The members from Ulundi Task Team and Vryheid were conducting their Festive Season operations in the area when they noticed a suspicious looking VW Polo vehicle travelling in the Central Business District, Vryheid.

The members became suspicious and the vehicle was stopped and searched. The driver was found in possession of CAT drug contained in a transparent plastic bag. On further investigation, they also found more drugs under the driver’s seat and he was immediately arrested.
