A 35 year old suspect is expected to appear today in the KwaMsane Magistrate Court for illegal possession of a firearm. On 15 November 2018, KwaMsane police were conducting crime prevention duties at Nkombose Reserve when they received information of a man in possession of an AK47 rifle.
On their arrival on the said homestead a search was conducted and an AK47 rifle, one magazine and fourteen rounds of ammunition was recovered.
The suspect was arrested and charged accordingly.
