Shortly after 01:00 on Tuesday, whilst on routine patrol, a Marshall Security armed response officer, noticed a suspicious vehicle, a white Hyundai Elantra in the Somerset Park area.
A vehicle check revealed the vehicle to have been stolen in February in the Hibberdene area of the KwaZulu-Natal south coast and members of the Marshall Security Special Operations Team and the SAPS Durban K9 Unit, were called in to assist, resulting in the vehicle being pulled over on Mt Edgecombe Drive.
Two male suspects were arrested on site.
The vehicle and suspects were handed over to the South African Police Services for further investigation and processing.
