On Sunday, 23 July 2017, a 22-year-old man was arrested in the Zwelisha area of Wembezi.
He together with two accomplices entered the house of a 26-year-old woman.
They demanded her bank card pin number. When they had left she noticed that two cell phones, a flat screen television as well as a DVD player were missing from the premises.
One of the suspects was subsequently arrested by police and will appear in the Estcourt Magistrate’s Court on 24 July 2017, where he faces a charge of house robbery.
Police are searching for the other suspects.
