Three suspects are set to appear today, 22 August 2018, in court for possession and dealing in drugs. An operation conducted by SAPS Special Drug Team and Chatsworth SAPS yielded positive results.
In the early hours of the morning members conducted an intelligence driven operation in the area of Westcliff Drive and Rank Avenue, Chatsworth. The members recovered 700 capsules of heroin with the street value of R14 000-00 and arrested a 22 year old suspect.
In another incident on 21 August 2018, eThekwini Cluster Team arrested two suspects aged 23 and 53 years for dealing in drugs. The members receive information about drug dealing in Cato Crest area. Upon arrival at the said area, the members discovered dagga and two suspects were arrested and charged for dealing in drugs.
They appeared in the Durban Magistrates’ Court.
