Two (2) shots were fired during an attempted hijacking in Temple Valley – KZN this afternoon (Monday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to a residential property at approximately 18:41. On arrival, Reaction Officers met with a Chinese national. He informedOfficers that he arrived from work and was in the process of opening the driveway gate which was on manual due to loadshedding. A silver Renault Triber stopped and three (3) armed males alighted from the vehicle. The victim’s calls for assistance raised the attention of neighbours. The suspects retreated and fired shots prior to fleeing in their getaway vehicle. Two (2) spent 9mm cartridges were recovered at the scene.
No injuries were reported….
