Just after 20h00 on Tuesday evening Netcare 911 paramedics and the provincial services responded to a shooting incident at Zibuse village in Hammarsdale.
Reports from the scene indicate that the security guard was on patrol when he was shot.
However exact details to the incident will form part of the South African Police investigation.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the guard had tragically died before our arrival due to the extensive injuries that he sustained.
