On Thursday, 19 September 2019 the Pietermaritzburg Regional Court sentenced Sibusiso Mngadi (31) to 15 years imprisonment. Three years were suspended, which means that he will serve 12 years direct imprisonment.

His sentence came after the court heard how Vincent Hadebe (43) was killed on the night of 27 February 2019. It is alleged the deceased and the accused were on duty as security guards at a farm on Dargle Road in Boston.
