A farm attack took place in Darnall in KZN on 3 September 2018 at 06:00. The attack occurred at Hummeloo Farm in KwaDukuza where a woman walked in on a man in the kitchen who had invaded their home. In an effort to protect her child the woman was critically stabbed and hacked by the cane knife wielding assailant.
The attacker fled on foot and the woman is currently in hospital. There is no other information available at this stage. The suspect is being sought by Z2 Farm watch and SA Police Service.
