Durban Central Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit is appealing to the members of the community with regards to the case of rape they are investigating.
It is alleged that on 18 July 2018 at about 19:30 a 25 year old woman was waiting for her sister in Julius Nyerere area when she was approached by an unknown man who offered to assist her in terms of going to the bus stop.
On their way to workshop they ended up in an unknown storage where the victim was raped. Police believe that the man in the identikit can be of an assistance in solving the case.
