Police Durban Central Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit detectives are seeking for assistance in finding a wanted suspect attached in the picture to help solve a case of rape they are investigating.

It is alleged that between the period of 2017 to 2021, a 22-year-old victim was repeatedly raped by a known suspect on Bell Street at South Beach.

In 2021 the victim broke the silence and reported the matter to Point police. The docket was transferred to Durban Central FCS for further investigation.

The suspect heard that police were searching for him and he left the area. He is originally from Limpopo province and his whereabouts are unknown at this stage. A warrant of arrest has been issued by the Durban Magistrate’s Court.
