It is alleged that during October 2020, a 23-year-old woman attended a church service at North Beach in Durban.

The church minister who was known as “Pastor David” summoned her into his office and proposed love to her, however, the victim declined. It is further alleged that on the following Sunday of the same month, the victim was attending a church service again, when she was once again summoned by the alleged pastor into his office after the service and he raped her.

The suspect fled from the area after he received information that the police were looking for him.

Detectives believe that the person in the attached identikit can assist them in locating the suspect.

Anyone with information that can assist the police investigation is requested to contact the investigating officer Constable Dludla on 061 375 4876 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
