

A police operation conducted along Dr Pixley kaSeme Street in the Point area on [Day of week] led to the shutdown of an unlicensed pub, the arrest of its manager, and the confiscation of liquor.
Authorities moved in to seal off the area, targeting establishments operating outside the law. During the raid, it was discovered that the pub manager is residing in the country illegally. He was taken into custody, and alcohol found on the premises was seized by law enforcement.
In addition to the action against the pub, the coordinated effort resulted in several other arrests. Police confirmed that suspects were apprehended for possession of illegal substances and for possession of a firearm without a valid license.
Separately, in Umlazi, an individual was arrested for obstructing police officers while they were carrying out their official duties.
Furthermore, the operation led to the apprehension of multiple foreign nationals who were found to be undocumented. All arrested individuals are expected to appear in the relevant magistrates’ courts soon.
