At 09H58 Sunday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a Pedestrian vehicle collision that occurred on the N3 North bound just before the Cato Ridge off-ramp.
Reports from the scene indicate that an adult male has been knocked down by a light motor vehicle and had sustained serious fractures.
The patient was treated on scene by an Advanced life support paramedic and was transported to hospital in a stable condition.
The Road Traffic Inspector ate as well as the SAPS were on scene to investigate.
