A man in his forties is in a critical condition after a shooting incident in the Malvern area around 11pm on Saturday evening 24 March 2018.
Rescue Care Paramedics responded to the call in Purity Lane in Malvern for reports of a man having been shot.
Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the man critically injured after being shot in the abdomen. Advanced Life Support intervention was needed, and the man was placed on a manual ventilator on the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for the urgent care that he required.
At this stage the events leading up to the shooting is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
