Multiple alerts surfaced on social media requesting immediate assistance on Friday morning for someone who was shot and laying on the roadway.
KZNVIP Reaction Teams were dispatched to the scene and found that a male in his 50s sustained multiple gunshot wounds and requested immediate medical assistance from VIP Ambulance who arrived shortly thereafter.
Sadly after attempts by Medics to stabilize the patient his condition deteriorated and the victim was declared deceased on the scene.
In one of the pictures are the suspects wanted for the vicious murder that has rocked the Whetstone community. The vehicle taken was a white Toyota corolla which was shortly recovered abandoned in Inanda Newtown C Area.
It is believed as the victim was leaving home to his place of work the suspects approached him and shot the victim before Fleeing with the vehicle and other valuables.
SAPS and all other emergency services attended the scene.
