Around 12:30 today ALS Paramedics received numerous calls of a shooting incident that had occurred in Davenport Lane in Davenport area of Durban.
Paramedics responded to find SAPS and multiple security personnel on scene and the area cornered off.
Paramedics found one person had sustained minor injuries and it is alleged that the man was being robbed by a gang of men when a shootout erupted.
Fortunately, the man did not sustain any gunshot wounds and it is not clear if any criminals were injured as they had left the scene. One vehicle had sustained multiple bullet holes in its side.
SAPS was in attendance and will be investigating the circumstances further….
