At 21H36 Friday evening Netcare 911 responded to reports of a serious collision on the P55 in Nyandezulu on the KZN South Coast.
Reports from the scene indicate that A 20-year-old female had died and A 19-year-old female had been seriously injured after being struck by a light motor vehicle.
The seriously injured female was treated in scene and rushed to hospital for further treatment.
All necessary authorities were on scene to investigate.
