No one hurt in Ottawa house robbery

HOUSE ROBBERY – On Monday at approximately 12:53 members of Reaction Unit South Africa were dispatched to Heathrow Avenue in Parkgate, Ottawa, after receiving reports of a house robbery which had already occurred.

Upon arrival Officers were informed that three African males had derailed the driveway gates before breaking the lock on a security gate and entered the home.

According to the victims when they went to investigate the noise they were accosted by the suspects who forced the two of them into the bedroom. The suspects informed the victims that they were armed with firearms and should comply with their instructions.

The suspects then stole two Samsung plasma TV’s, a Sony Playstaion 4, an X Box 360 and two cellphones before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction.

The victims could not confirm if the suspects had used a vehicle.

Officers patrolled the area in search of suspects however no arrests were made.
