An undisclosed number of suspects, one of which was brandishing an automatic rifle, shot and killed a motorist whilst he was driving along Beviss Road, in the Pinetown area this afternoon.
Eye witnesses reported seeing gunmen firing multiple shots into the vehicle, killing the driver instantly, before fleeing from the scene. Pinetown SAPS arrived shortly thereafter and a full investigation is underway. The motivate for the shooting is unclear and detectives are investigating a case of murder.
