On Monday, 29 November 2021 at 12:30, the Umkomaas Task Team received information about a stolen vehicle which was parked at Roseneath in Umkomaas.
The Task Team together with a private security company proceeded to the said place and they found the vehicle.
Upon checking the vehicle, they found 246 Zanax tablets, 18 bottles of codeine cough syrup, Stilpane syrup, 11 packets of Pacific Blue cigarettes and 2kg of dagga.
A 25-year-old suspect was placed under arrest for contravening the Medicine Control Act and possession of counterfeit goods.
The suspect is appearing in the Scottburgh Magistrates’ Court this morning.
