At approximately 13:42 on Saturday afternoon 24 March 2018, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a stabbing on the Margate main beach.
Reports from the scene indicate that two adult males were involved in an altercation the ended up with one of the males being stabbed and assaulted.
A 30 year old male was treated on scene for a head wound and transported to hospital in a stable condition for further assessment and care.
The SAPS was on scene and will be investigating.
