A man in his twenties has sustained serious injuries after he was stabbed and left on the side of the road for death.
Just after 20:30 Rescue Care Paramedics were called to Joyce Road in Newlands for a stabbing. On arrival they found a male in his twenties on the side of the road. He had sustained serious injuries as a result of the stabbing and Advanced Life Support Paramedics worked to stabilise on the scene before transporting him through to a nearby hospital.
At this stage the events leading up to the stabbing is unknown however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
