A 35-year-old man has sustained moderate injuries after he was shot during an argument with another motorist on Fairway Road and corner Beachwood Place in Broadway.
The incident occurred on Monday evening at about 17h42.
Reports from the scene indicate that two motorists were arguing after allegedly colliding with each other prior to the shooting.
Netcare911 paramedics managed to stabilise the wounded driver of a light motor vehicle on scene before transporting him to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
The exact detail to the cause of the shooting will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
