At approximately 19:40 Marshall Security and Crisis Medical responded to a report of a shooting in Saxon Crescent, La Lucia.
On arrival on scene, a forty-six-year-old male was found seated in an SUV having suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
Unfortunately, there was nothing paramedics could do to assist the man and he was declared deceased on arrival.
The scene was secured and handed over to the SAPS.
At this stage, the motive for the shooting is unknown and will form subject of a South African Police Services investigation.
