A 23-year-old man was shot in his leg before being dumped on the side of the highway near Blackburn – KZN yesterday afternoon.
Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call for assistance after employees of a construction company discovered the male.
Reaction Officers were dispatched and arrived on the scene.
The injured male informed RUSA Members that he was shot by unknown men who loaded him into the back of their bakkie and dumped him on the side of the N2.
He was unable to confirm the location or reason for the shooting.
His calls for assistance attracted the attention of individuals conducting road works nearby….
