An armed robbery took place on Wednesday when a victim withdrew R35,000 from a bank in the Durban area. Like vultures they pounce on the helpless.
The armed robbers followed victim to his workplace.
Practice situational awareness at all times especially when withdrawing large sums of cash. Rather use other methods to move money around.
If the cash is for salaries, rather transfer the money to a cell phone number or voucher system if you cannot do an EFT to a bank account.
Expect to be held up when dealing in large sums of cash. Criminal informants are everywhere and are often the last people you would expect. Plan and strategize your cash withdrawals accordingly and if necessary contract a professional CPO to assist.
