A 40 year old man suffered injuries after his vehicle fell on him while conducting an inspection for a leak.
On January 10, 2017 at approximately 15:25 members of Reaction Unit South Africa received a call from a resident in Phoenix seeking assistance after her husband was trapped under a vehicle.
Reaction Officers and paramedics responded to the scene and upon arrival found that the male was removed from under the vehicle by his family. Paramedics stabilized the man and transported him to Mt Edgecombe Private Hospital.
According to family, the man was under the vehicle when the jack slipped resulting in the car falling on his chest.
