At 16H31 Saturday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a Pedestrian vehicle collision on the N3 East bound just after the Peter Brown offramp.
Reports from the scene indicate that an adult male pedestrian was struck down by a light motor vehicle while crossing the road.
The patient was treated on scene and transported by another private ambulance service to hospital for further treatment.
All necessary authorities were on scene to investigate.
