A man has died and a 37-year-old woman is in a critical condition following a shooting at a house on Noodsberg Road (R614) in Tongaat, KwaZulu-Natal at about 10:30am this morning.
Netcare 911 Media Liaison Officer Athlenda Mathe, said, “When Netcare 911 paramedics arrived on scene, we found that the man had already died due to the multiple gunshot wounds he sustained. We also found the woman to be in a critical condition. A Netcare 911 Emergency Care Practitioner intubated the woman on scene to assist her to breathe before transporting her to a nearby hospital for further medical care. The man was declared dead on scene by a Netcare 911 paramedic.”
The exact detail as to what happened will form part of a SAPS investigation and comment.
