At 17h50 on Sunday night, Netcare 911 paramedics and the police responded to a collision along Berea Road in Durban. Reports from the scene indicate that a man in his 30’s was crossing the road when he was hit by a vehicle.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the car that struck the man had fled the scene. The man was found lying on the roadway with life threatening injuries.
Paramedics treated the patient at the scene before they transported him to a local hospital for further care.
