Man arrested at Port Shepstone beach for indecent exposure
Man arrested at Umtentweni beach, Port Shepstone for indecent exposure.

Yesterday afternoon two teenage females who are on holiday on the south coast, were walking along Umtentweni beach, Port Shepstone when they came across an adult male. This male walked pass them, then turned around and started taking off his clothes. They started running and the suspect then chased them, totally naked, but they managed to run away through the bush.

The incident was reported to the police and a docket of Indecent Exposure was opened. Warrant Officer, Marc Wiid and Warrant Officer Rommel da Rosa from Port Shepstone SAPS Search and Rescue Unit immediately utilised Search and Rescue dog, Bear, and started searching along the beach to look for the suspect.

Shortly afterwards a 32 year old male, fitting the decription, was located where he was hiding in a bush. He was arrested and detained.
