A 24-year-old man was arrested in the Estcourt area on 22 July 2017 after he assaulted his 10 year old nephew.
The young boy sustained injuries to his head and other parts of his body after being assaulted with a stick.
The suspect is due to appear in the Estcourt Magistrate’s court on 24 July 2017.
He faces a charge of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
