Estcourt Detectives are appealing to the community to assist them in solving a case of armed robbery and hijacking. During the latter part of June this year, a motorist experienced a problem with his vehicle whilst travelling along the N3 in the vicinity of the Shell Ultra City.

The man was with his family at the time. While trying to repair his vehicle another vehicle stopped at a distance away and two men alighted from the vehicle. The two men threatened the victims and at gunpoint, robbed them of an undisclosed amount of cash.

Detectives believe that the two men depicted in the attached identikits can assist in their investigation.

The person in the first image is described as tall and slender built, he has a gold slit and a moustache and is between the ages of 35 and 37. The second person in the image is described as tall and a little bit chubby built. He is also between 35 and 37 years old.

Anyone who may know of the identities or the whereabouts of the two men is urged to contact Sergeant Sankhar of the Estcourt Detectives on 036 342 9514 or 078 377 5694 or alternatively Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
