A 34-year-old man was arrested in the Mhlalini area of Mahlabathini on 15 April 2026 on charges of unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Police in Mahlabathini confirmed the arrest was made as part of an ongoing effort to remove illegal firearms from the community.
The suspect is expected to appear before court soon.
