Livestock thieves arrested with 11 stolen goats

STOCK THEFT – On Wednesday night Kokstad Stock Theft unit struck again when they arrested two suspects for possession of eleven suspected stolen goats at Swartberg area near Matatiela.

The arrested suspects age 22 and 30 years appeared in the Kokstad Magistrate’s Court on 12 May 2016. They are facing possession of stolen property.

The KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Mmamonnye Ngobeni commended the members for curbing down stock theft cases in the province. Stock Theft members will intensify their strategies in making sure that those who are involved in stealing livestock are brought to book.
