At approx 8:30 on Monday 6 May 2019, members of Reaction Unit South Africa were called out to the R102 near King Shaka International Airport after a passing motorist reported an accident when he noticed a group of people standing between the north and southbound lanes.
Reaction Officers and Paramedics arrived on scene and established that a cow was knocked down during the early hours of this morning. The scene was cleared and several passing motorists noticed the cow lying on the road after sunrise this morning.
The owner was not immediately located and animal was slaughtered and removed.
