Two pupils at the Masakhaneni High School, Kwamakhutha, Amanzimtoti in KZN died after a knife fight at the school over a cellphone.
The deceased were 18 and 20 years old, respectively.
The MEC of education in Natal has asked students to show better discipline and respect for each other during a visit to school after the incident.
Educationalists point out the dangerous state of the multicultural condition of the country and the fact that it is the white children who will be increasingly exposed to this behaviour as forced integration into state schools takes place.
