On 5 November 2018, Durban High Court sentenced Mthobisi Mnyandu (30) to five terms of life imprisonment and a total of 68 years imprisonment.
He was convicted on seven counts of rape, eight counts of kidnapping and robbery with aggravating circumstances.
He was sentenced to five terms of life imprisonment on five counts of rape, 30 years imprisonment on two counts of rape, 23 years imprisonment on eight counts of kidnapping and 15 years imprisonment for robbery with aggravating circumstances.
