House robbery in Ottawa

HOUSE ROBBERY – Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were dispatched to Munn Road in Ottawa after being informed of a house robbery which had occurred.

Upon arrival Officers were informed by the domestic worker that while conducting general chores she noticed one suspect jumping over the boundary wall. The suspect then kicked the front door open before forcing her to lie on the ground. Within minutes he was joined by two accomplices who were armed with firearms.

The suspects were in the process of stealing an LG plasma TV when the domestic worker started screaming for help which alerted neighbors. The suspects dropped the TV in the home and fled the scene in a light blue, new model Mazda. It was found that they had managed to over ride the driveway gate motor in order to allow them to reverse their getaway vehicle onto the property.

Reaction Officers were searching for the suspects.
