Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) responded to a house on fire at 23:02 on Sunday evening 27 December 2020. Reaction Officers arrived on Rajendra Road in Tongaat and found the house engulfed in flames.
The Ethekwini Fire Department responded swiftly and contained the blaze. The house was extensively damaged and no injuries were reported.
According to neighbours, the homeowners were in Johannesburg – Gauteng at the time of the incident. This could not be confirmed.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
