A house on Charles Street in Mount Moreland was extensively damaged after it caught alight during the early parts of Tuesday morning 31 March 2020.
At approximately 01:55 members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were called out to the property after residents in the area reported the fire. On arrival Reaction Officers found the entire home engulfed in flames. The blaze was extinguished on arrival of the Ethekwini Fire Department.
Circumstances as to how the fire started is unconfirmed as the property was not occupied at the time.
